Manage and supervise all Accounting, Payroll and HR functions. Responsible for all cash management & forecasting, financial reporting, audits (tax, insurance, bank, union, labor compliance) and government (federal, state, county, city) required reporting/filing. Miscellaneous other accounting functions.

I have worked in accounting for construction companies for 36 years. I was entirely self-employed for 18 of those years as an independent Certified Trainer/Implementation Specialist for a construction industry ERP software (American Contractor) and as a freelance Construction Accounting Consultant. I’ve been with ICS (a former consulting client) since 2010.

I majored in Music and minored in Business at California State University Hayward (now CSU East Bay). Due to unexpected life events, I was unable complete my degree. I also studied at Ohlone College (Accounting). However, I received my most valuable professional education from a business growth consultant hired by a former boss. There is no substitute for applying newly learned skills in the real world and honing them by receiving real world, real time feedback! I am so grateful for the experience.

I have a second “job” as a singer in a rock-n-roll cover band, The Hurricane Band, based in Livermore, CA. I love spending time with my husband, our dogs, walking & hiking in the beautiful outdoors, reading, YouTube(!), singing, cooking, hanging out and eating & drinking with friends & family.

I was born in San Francisco. Today Dublin, CA is home.

I moved 20 times by the time I was 25 years old. I have never watched the original Star Trek TV show. My aunt had two pet monkeys.
