ICS Integrated Communication Systems designed and installed a core fire alarm system for eight multi-story buildings at Santa Clara Square, an integrated workplace community in Santa Clara. The offices offer 1.7 million square feet of flexible office space.
The work, completed on a design/build basis, includes an EST Edwards Fire Alarm Control Panel system as well as smoke detection and voice evacuation systems throughout the eight structures. Amir Mohammadian, Senior Project Manager at ICS, worked closely with all the MEP trades, Hathaway Dinwiddie, Rosendin Electric and the Irvine Company to configure a system that satisfied all the applicable codes and meets all current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) code requirements.
